Who am I? Victim to Victor…
Hi, I’m Sarah Eva, a Certified Attachment Theory Coach, fellow survivor, and now an authentic thriver.
My passion is helping people heal their emotional wounds and discover the REAL YOU that was once hidden out of survival.
Whether you’ve faced narcissistic abuse, sexual betrayal, or codependency in relationships, including with those who abuse substances, I believe transformation is possible.
Trust me – thriving is possible.
As a survivor and now thriver of narcissistic abuse and sexual betrayal, I know firsthand the pain of losing touch with your true self.
Through my healing process, I shifted from an insecure attachment style to a secure one.
This transformation showed me that healing is not only possible but also essential for living a life of freedom and joy.

Experience makes coaching more effective.
I believe that coaching from experience is crucial. You cannot teach what you have not lived.
Clinical knowledge alone often falls short and sometimes does more harm than good.
My approach is grounded in real-life experiences, enabling me to offer understanding, practical tools, and compassionate support based on my own journey.
Here’s what I offer.
I specialize in helping individuals with attachment wounds, including those affected by: Sex addiction, Narcissistic behaviors, and Codependency, especially in relationships with addicts.
I also bring my entrepreneurial experience to help high-achieving individuals navigate the challenges of emotional and relational health.
My work is grounded in acknowledging the effects of complex trauma, a patterned behavior that creates a sense of feeling perpetually unsafe, which creates insecure attachment to caregivers.
Then, I deploy tools within Integrated Attachment Theory (IAT), which combines an understanding of attachment with neuroplasticity. This means we can reprogram your brain, change negative beliefs, and adopt healthier coping mechanisms to create authentic relationships with yourself and others. Ultimately, you gain safety and come to understand your value and worth.
Working with me offers immediate benefits.
- Personal Experience: I’ve walked your path and offer real-life insights and tools, not just theories. I know your pain of losing your identity, not knowing if anyone will love you, feeling like you don’t belong, or that you’ll never find healthy love.
- Practical Tools: I provide actionable strategies that can be implemented right away to begin healing. In as little as 21 days, you can be free from the painful beliefs of “I’m not good enough,” “I am unworthy,” “I am unlovable”, or “I will be abandoned or alone.”
- Transformation, not Change: You’ve spent your entire life changing into someone that isn’t serving you anymore because it’s not authentic. Unlike traditional therapy, I focus on tangible, profound, and rapid shifts in your attachment style and emotional well-being to transform you into someone who existed long ago and wants to be remembered and kept safe.
- Empathy: My experiences enable me to understand and support you on a deeper level. I can relate to your pain of being cheated on, not believing yourself or your experiences, and being afraid to tell anyone what is happening because they all see your partner as the “nice one and you as the crazy one.” Maybe you thought, “If I only did (fill in the blank), he wouldn’t leave,” or asked yourself questions like, “Why do I always push people away? What’s wrong with me?”
What sets me apart from a traditional therapist?
Experience over Theory: I’ve been where you are and bring lived experience, not just clinical knowledge, to the table.
Holistic Approach: I combine attachment theory with neuroplasticity to create lasting change in your beliefs and behaviors.
Focused on Transformation: While traditional therapy can take years to yield significant changes, my coaching is designed to facilitate rapid and sustainable transformation.
Empowerment: I don’t just discuss the issues; I provide you with the tools and support to navigate them and thrive.

About Sarah Eva Michielson

Personal experience was my guide.
I became an Attachment Theory and Complex Trauma coach because of PAIN – the pain of being narcissistically abused since birth. Then, into adulthood, I repeated the same type of attachment relationships.
I’ve been married three times to three different men who represented the other unresolved issues from my childhood abuse. I now recognize that I tried to subconsciously rewrite the wrongs I experienced to gain the love I knew I deserved.
I am intimately aware of all sides of sexual betrayal, narcissistic abuse, and emotional abuse, and was a textbook codependent. When I got that label over 25 years ago, like many others who gained that label, I continued and reinforced more and more negative coping mechanisms because I believed there was “something wrong with me.” (The ever-evolving engine behind codependent behaviors.)
Because of this belief, which kept getting reinforced, I kept twisting and turning in life, only to discover after three marriages, raising three children, and working countless different jobs, that “nothing was wrong with me,” but finding the truth that there was “everything wrong with what happened TO me.”
Then, I realized that change was possible.
Once I realized that nothing was wrong with me, I could then take responsibility for my actions and behaviors and stop believing that “I was bad” at my core.
While I did some things that negatively affected my loved ones, I discovered that I could make repairs once I accepted accountability and responsibility for my actions and changed them for the better. I could finally relieve the pain and shame that fueled my unwanted behaviors.
I found healing and clarity in my training and, while I don’t have an official certification as a narcissistic abuse coach, I have a lifetime of experience and healing from it. I believe that we “shouldn’t waste our pain,” if at all possible. Our healing is the HOPE that others need to see that it’s REAL.
I firmly believe, “You cannot help others heal further than you have healed yourself.” I continue to learn, grow, and develop. My heart has always been to help others. It would be my honor to hear your story and help you heal from things you never deserved.
